Sidney Julian Smith

Julian Smith was born in Waycross, Georgia on November 29, 1919. He was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints serving in various positions including that of Sealer at the LDS Temple in Orlando, Florida. Julian was an employee of Otis Elevator for over 30 years. He married Vera Thelma Cone in 1949 at the LDS Temple in Mesa, Arizona. Julian Smith is survived by four children: Susan Smith Ruppel, Julie Smith Holbert, Sidney Julian Smith,Jr. and Sharon G. Smith. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Julian Smith was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, and Grandfather and he was a man who lived his faith. A memorial Service will be held at Palm Cemetery in Winter Park on Monday July 11, 2011.
