

Vicki Lynn Casey of Orlando, Florida, went to her heavenly home on June 10, 2026. She was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on May 6, 1944. In 1949, her family moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico, where she grew up. Vicki was the fourth of five children born to Wayne and Virginia Boring and was the sister of Wayne Boring Jr. (deceased), Gayle Mudd (deceased), Terry Boring (deceased), and Margo Halsey of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
After high school, Vicki attended beauty school and began her career as a beautician. In 1965, she married Charles “Casey” Casey. They lived and worked in Albuquerque, New Mexico, spent a brief time in San Antonio and Austin, Texas, then returned to New Mexico, before moving to Orlando, Florida.
While living in Los Lunas, New Mexico, Vicki continued working as a beautician and eventually opened her own successful beauty salon, where she was loved by her customers. She later worked for several years at a car dealership in Albuquerque, where Casey also worked, After moving to Orlando, Florida, in 2007, Vicki worked for a car dealership before becoming the church secretary at Concord Street Church of Christ.
When Vicki and Casey moved to Florida, they searched for a church community and found a home at Concord Street Church of Christ. The Concord family welcomed them with warmth and grace, and Vicki later became the church secretary there in 2008. She remained in that role until she retired in 2017. She loved her Concord church family dearly, and her family is deeply grateful for their support throughout her journey.
Vicki loved quilting, which brought her great happiness and allowed her to create warm, comforting gifts for family and friends. She spent countless hours at her sewing machine making beautiful quilts for the people she loved.
Vicki was a kind, gentle Christian woman who was loved by all who knew her. She had a wonderful smile and unforgettable dimples.
Vicki was blessed to have her three wonderful children—Michelle, Cynthia, and Don—by her side during the final weeks of her life. Their compassion, devotion, and tender care brought her great comfort in her last days.
She is survived by her sister and best friend, Margo Halsey, and Margo’s husband, Tom, of Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Vicki is survived by her children: Michelle Emond of Orlando, Florida; Cynthia Rice and her husband, David, of Cumming, Georgia; Don Casey of Orlando, Florida; and Jim Drew and his wife, Allison, of Sugar Land, Texas.

Her grandson Gilbert Granados and great-granddaughter Alicia of California.
Her granddaughter Nicole Granados and great-grandson Anthony Caldwell of Las Vegas, Nevada.
Her grandson Michael Emond, his wife, Melanie, and great-granddaughters Bellabei and Elliana of Darby, Kansas.
Her grandson Benjamin Casey, his wife, Amanda, great-granddaughter Allison, and great-grandson Lucas of Groveland, Florida.
Her grandson Brandon Keith, his wife, Katie, and great-grandson John Baylor of Holly Springs, Georgia.
Her grandchildren Nigel Drew, Jade Drew, and Jace Drew of Sugar Land, Texas.
Vicki also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews, and four great-great-great-nieces.
She will also be greatly missed by her childhood friend of 69 years, Margie Koffler of Spring Hill, Florida.
Vicki’s life was rooted in faith. She loved God, his word and his church. She found joy in serving others in various ways and did so in a gentle loving manner.
