Vivian R. Gilbert

Vivian Ruth Gilbert, 88 of Winter Park, FL. passed away on December 30, 2021. She was born in Allentown, PA. on November 6, 1933. Vivian graduated from Roanoke College and received an associate’s degree. She worked in numerous clerical positions throughout the Orlando area. She was a lifelong member of Eastern Star and served in numerous positions, including Worthy Matron, during the past 65 plus years. She was a Charter Member of the Winter Park Christian Church (Est. 1958). She served as Diaconate until her passing and was active in the Christian Womens Fellowship.

Vivian was predeceased by her parents Harry W. Gilbert Sr. and Thelma O’Brien Gilbert, her brother Harry W. Gilbert Jr. and his wife Betty L. Gilbert, her sister Martha Hedrick and her husband Walter J. Hedrick.

Still living to carry on her memory are her nephew Harry W. Gilbert III, and his wife Leslie Fenwick Gilbert, her great nephew Harry W. Gilbert IV, one soon to be great great nephew Weston Lee Gilbert and several cousins including Fred Mudge and Stephanie Mudge.

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. on January 5, 2022 at the Winter Park Christian Church at 760 N. Lakemont, Winter Park, FL. 32792. In lieu of flowers, charitable contributions will be accepted by the Winter Park Christian Church.
