Wilda Imogene Shell Daniel, 95, of Anderson, Indiana passed away on May 4, 2018 at St. Vincent’s Anderson Regional Hospital. Wilda was born on October 29, 1922 in Madison County. She attended the local schools and graduated from Anderson High School in 1940.
She resided in the Anderson area until 1958 and moved to Winter Park, Florida, where she resided until 2005, returning to Anderson to be close to family.
Wilda retired from Lockheed Martin Aerospace in 1986 after 25 years of service as an accountant. Over her life, she was past Matron Order of the Eastern Star Pioneer Chapter #99 in Winter Park, Florida. Past Royal Matron and Life Member of the Amaranth Crown Court #33 in Orlando, Florida. Daughters of the Nile Athliah Temple #114 in Orlando, Florida. Social Order of the Beauceant Chapter #256 in Orlando, Florida. Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America Court #86 in Orlando, Florida. Shrine Widows Club of Bahia Shrine in Winter Park, Florida. Ladies Auxillary, and Life Member of Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #2093 in Orlando, Florida.
Wilda is survived by her one grandson, Christopher R. Blazier of Ft. Myers, Florida; brothers, Ronnie J. (Donna) Shell, and Duane Edward (Marjorie) Shell all of Anderson; sister-in-law, Lay Francis Shell of Frankton; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and several great-great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Rolla B. Blazier, Frank M. Heckendorn, James M. Daniel; son, Rolla Blaine Blazier; daughter-in-law, Sharon A. Blazier; parents, George C and Mary B. (Fish) Shell; sisters, Hilda Coleen Shell, Eileen Shell Jackson, and Georgia B. Shell Walters; brothers, Donald H. Shell, Elmo Earlen Shell, and Lavern Ward Shell.
A Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 12:00pm to 2:00pm at Baldwin Fairchild Funeral Home – Ivanhoe Chapel, 301 NE Ivanhoe Boulevard, Orlando, FL 32804. Funeral Service will begin at 2:00pm.
A Graveside Committal Service will be on Monday, May 14, 2018 at 3:00pm at Woodlawn Memorial Park, 400 Woodlawn Cemetery Road, Gotha, FL 34734.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The American Diabetes Association, Madison County Shrine Club, or The Crown Court #33 order of the Amaranth, 3200 East Grant Street, Orlando, Florida 32806.
