Albert was born July 23, 1971, and had many passions in his life, with his children being the greatest. He lived a truckers’ life. His truck, the open highway and the stories from shift to shift. Abby was a fan’s favorite on the ice or in the field, he was a bro’s bro, an all-around crazy guy who lived his life like the roads he drove. Smooth, straight and ‘slow buggers in the right lane’. Albert took great pride in his semi, his aspiring trucking company “ALJ Chiefs Trucking”. His great passion for sports including hockey, fastball and golf. Fond memories of hockey, to coaching, to being a referee. Albert’s highlight was his sons and their great achievements in hockey. Through sport, teammates became friends that shared laughter in his humorous ways.

The family would like to thank Tatanka Najin Chief and Council, Brockie Donovan Funeral Home in Brandon, MB and Tubman Funeral Home in Fort Qu’Appelle. Albert was a great guy. He coached the Ochapowace Whitebear Bantam team and I drove the Ochapowace players to Whitebear, Lampman, Redvers, Carlyle, etc., to these games from Ochapowace and it was always great to see Albert ready coach the team. That's where he noticed my sons Jesse and Jaimie Kinistino loved this sport.

Albert was like a brother to me. Him and I played hockey together in Hudson Bay. I enjoyed living with Abby during those times. Always fun times and full of laughter. I have a lot of vivid memories of Abby. He was taken way too soon and will be truly missed. I had the chance to speak with Abby again a year ago when he had reached out to me. I always loved talking with Albert. He was always a true warrior and looked out for his family. You will be missed. Condolences to his family.
