

Arline Sebastian, of Montmartre, Saskatchewan, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2026, at the age of 88 years. She was born in Montmartre, Saskatchewan, Arline lived a life defined by kindness, quiet strength and unwavering love for her family and community.
She is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gerry Paradis; daughters Wanda Eberle (Irvin) and Deneen Sebastian (Ian Gillespie); sons Trevor Sebastian and Brock (Jacqueline) Sebastian. Arline was a proud grandmother and great-grandmother, finding immense joy in each of them: Billie-Jo and Miguel Morrissette, with their sons Samson and Louis; Caz Sebastian and Jennesa Cameron, with Devry and Bohdan; Braden and Katie Eberle, with their sons Miles, Jack and Nash; Kyron and Mandy Eberle, with Jorja, Jovi and Eli; Tiana Sebastian; Carmen and Matt LeBrun and Eva; and Tiffany Cope.
She was predeceased by her first husband, William Sebastian; daughter, Renee; and grandson, Tyler.
The family extends heartfelt thanks to Gerry’s family—Marilyn Carriere, Viviane Blerot, Richard and Lenna Paradis, Ronald and Lauren Paradis, Pauline Paradis and the late Evelyne Paradis, for welcoming Arline so warmly.
A devoted wife, mother and community volunteer, Arline found joy in simple pleasures: playing cards, gardening, curling, golfing, petit point and knitting. She dedicated countless hours to serving her hometown of Montmartre, where her generosity and community spirit touched many lives. Arline and Gerry cherished time spent with friends and family, especially around the table for cards and laughter.
Arline’s legacy is one of love, service and gentle warmth. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A funeral mass will be celebrated in Sacred Heart R.C. Church, Montmartre, Saskatchewan on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. by Rev. Francis (Prince) Kurisinkal.
