Aurillia was born in Borden, SK on December 9, 1930, the second child of seven for John and Pearl. After attending school in the Borden/Radisson area she completed her legal stenography course at Success Business College in Saskatoon. It was here she met and married her husband of 45 years Herbert Garth Tait on July 26, 1952. Aurillia worked for lawyers Gilchrist and Lamarsh until the family moved to the Langbank area permanently in 1960. Mom’s life was the farm and her family.
At her request there will be a private family graveside service held at a future date in Lansdowne Memorial Gardens.
If friends so desire, contributions may be made to the Lansdowne Memorial Gardens, Box 722, Kipling, SK S0G 2S0 in remembrance of Aurillia.
God, we commend to You the spirit of Aurillia, and comit her earthly remains to their final resting place. Earth to earth, ashes to ashes, dust to dust. May You bless her. May You keep her. And may Your countenance shine upon her, and bring her everlasting peace.
Amen
