Barbara Ann Peterson

October 2, 1946June 26, 2021

Barbara was born and raised in Indian Head and graduated from the University of Saskatchewan. Barb lived a great deal of her adult life in Vancouver where she raised her daughter Shannon. She worked in the financial field for many years before retiring and returning to Saskatchewan.

A passionate and skilled gardener and chef, she created a beautiful home and grounds at Katepwa Beach in the Qu’Appelle Valley. Fiercely independent, she lived on her own through the glories and hardships of prairie weather with her beloved golden retriever Hannah.

She is survived by her daughter Shannon Mooney and her brothers Garth and Eric.

A private family service was held.

In lieu of flowers, if friends and family wish to make a donation in Barbara’s memory, you may send donations to the Regina Humane Society, Box 3143 Highway 6 North & Armour Road, Regina, SK, S4P 3G7.

Barb was a wonderful person. She picked Hanna out of my litter pups. She loved and pampered Hanna more than I could ever have wished for. We had a few visits back and forth and hours on the phone talking about our dogs. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.
