A true country gentleman. With his wife and boys by his side, Barry left us as he lived, quietly and with simple dignity.
Barry was born the third child in a family of five, and lived his life on the farm south of Qu'Appelle. He married his sweetheart Shirley Emslie on June 1, 1963. Together they raised their family of four on the Priddell homestead.
Barry loved his family fiercely and each grandchild brought him joy. He enjoyed a lukewarm beer, snap shirts, his cattle, and a good laugh with his neighbours. We are brokenhearted to have to say goodbye, but when Theresa asked him to dance we had to let him go. He will forever be part of our hearts.
Barry joins his precious daughter Theresa Frederickson (2001), his grandson Zachery (1993) his brother Ken (2009) to look after us.
Remembering him are his wife Shirley, his sons Andrew (Heidi Gross) Kyle and Calvin; Scott (Roxane) Ainsley and Ryker; Murray (Pam) Aiden and Carter, Reanna, Justin (Lexi); son-in-law Mark, Jordan and Sarah along with sister Jean Rawlins, brothers Bob (Jean) and Bill (Rose) with a large extended family and many friends.
We will celebrate Barry's life Sunday July 7th at 2:00pm at the Qu'Appelle Lions Community Hall. In lieu of flowers the family would ask you to consider donating to the charity established in his daughter's honour, Forever Friends of Hope Foundation Inc. PO Box 422 Qu'Appelle Sask.
