It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend Betty Snedker after a lengthy illness. Betty is survived by her daughters Cyndy, Lori (Paul), Dawn (Robert); grandchildren Chandra (Michael), Ian (Rebecca), Christopher (Courtney) and great-grandchildren Lawson, Anna and James; her sister Irene (Ted) Clarke, sister-in-law Barbara (Murray) Straker, plus numerous nieces and nephews. Betty lost the love of her life Charles, her husband of 64 years in Sept. 2018. It goes without saying she will be greatly missed. Betty loved her family, home and pets and will be fondly remembered for always having a batch of cookies or freshly baked cake ready for when anyone came for a visit.

A very special thank you to the Drs. and staff of Echo Lodge and All Nations Healing Hospital, Fort Qu’Appelle for their loving care and compassion.

At Betty’s request there will be no funeral service, a private interment of cremated remains will take place at a later date.

In memory of Betty, donations may be made to Echo Lodge Box 1790, Fort Qu’Appelle, SK. S0G 1S0.

Cyndy, Lori, and Dawn - I am so sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. I was home to visit my mom (Lily Ellis) on Mother's day and we stopped in to visit Betty at Echo Lodge. I am so glad we did - we had a nice visit and she was amazing - she saw us coming up the sidewalk and was waiting for us at the door. Mom and I were happy to see her doing so well and it is with shock that I am sending you my condolences. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
