It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we announce the sudden unexpected passing of Brunella (Costa) Breen. Brunella was a warm, kind and loving woman. She was a joy to be around and full of laughter. She loved her family fiercely and treasured her many friendships. She will be greatly missed and carried in our hearts forever.
Brunella was born in Princeton, BC. She moved to Vancouver at 7 years old with her family. It was in Vancouver that she met her future husband, Vic. They were married in 1975 and celebrated 45 years happily together. They moved to Maple Ridge and started a family. Where they raised their two children Brandee and Steven. They relocated to Mission and over the years lived in the Fraser Valley, Kamloops and Melville. Eventually, retiring in Indian Head, SK. Close to Steven and his family.
Brunella was predeceased by her father and mother Vincenzo and Maria Francesca Costa. As well as her oldest sister Maria Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband Vic Breen. Also by, her daughter Brandee (Dave Zof) Bartucci and her son Steven (Rebecca Ward) Breen. Brunella has 6 grandchildren Francesca, Matteo, Alyse, Jax, Dylen and Cooper. Two great grandchildren Lorenzo and Luciana. Her grandchildren were the lights of her life. She cherished every moment she spent with them. Whenever she was with one of them, all of her love and devotion was placed on that child.
Brunella also leaves behind her brother Sam, sister Tina, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Countless friends and acquaintances.
We have received many messages in the last few day from people who may have only met her once or a couple times and were touched by her warm inviting kindness. We will love you forever and will never forget you.
