CALVIN S. SAWYER - May 14, 1947 - June 14, 2011, On Tuesday, June 14, 2011, Calvin S. Sawyer, beloved husband of Cheryl Sawyer, Langbank, SK., died at the age of 64 years. A celebration of life for Calvin Sawyer will be held in the Kipling Community Center, Kipling, SK., on Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m. Officiant: Rev. Barbara Wilkins. Cremation with interment in the Kennedy Cemetery at a later date. Predeceased by his father, Jack Sawyer in 1992, and a young brother James in 1956. Calvin is survived by his loving wife, Cheryl, stepdaughters, Kelly Sawyer and her son, Alexander Calvin James, Langbank, SK., and Tomika Kimura and her daughter, Chisato, Springfield, MA., U.S.A., and stepson, Tony (Ann) Sawyer and their son, Konnor Sawyer, Fort St. John, B.C., his mother, Mabel (Keith) Meikle, Kipling, SK., his two sisters, Dianne (David) Kashmere and Valerie (Ron) McFarlane, all of White City, SK., his nieces and nephews, Jodi (Rob); Brett (Astria); Stacey (Matt); Ryan (Charmaine); Chad (Leslie) and Bailey and Derek. Calvin is also survived by his many friends and neighbors.
