WASACASE CHARLES April 11, 1936 April 24, 2011 On Sunday, April 24, 2011, Charles Wasacase, Winnipeg, MB. and formerly Kahkewistahaw First Nation, died at the age of 75 years. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK., on Thursday, April 28, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Wojciech Wojtkowiak, O.M.I. and Sister Bernadette Feist, O.S.U. officiating. A wake will be held in the Kahkewistahaw Complex, Thursday, April 28, 2011, commencing at 5:00 p.m. An elder officiated funeral service will take place on Friday, April 29, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. in the complex. Interment in the Kahkewistahaw Cemetery. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Rose Wasacase; four sisters: Delma Stevenson, Marie Kaye, Mary Belanger and Violet Hardy and two brothers Joe and Vincent Wasacase. Charles is survived by two sisters: Rose Belanger, Stockholm, SK. and Shirley Parsons, Regina, as well as his nieces and nephews.
