Darnell Wellesley Joseph Louison

Darnell is survived by his children: Gage Sparvier-Chekosis, Nyah Sparvier-Checkosis and Ava'Lynn Checkosis; his parents Darnell Louison Sr. and Janell Bird; grandparents Rose Carrier and Delbert Bird; Uncles: Royce Bird, Roland Natewayes and Aaron Louison; Aunties: Nina Bird, Noreen Cyr (Earl), Valeria Louison-Therrien, Darlene Taypotat and Marlous Louison; siblings: Timothy Louison, Jolisa Bird, Randall Louison, Shelby Dubois (Cassandra), Adrien Dubois, Wilson Thorn, Chantell Dubois, Brookelyn Dubois, Maddison Louison, Marilyn Dubois, Phoenix Louison, Hailee Louison and Memphis Louison.

He was predeceased by his mother Sabrina Dubois; grandparents Ella Louison and William Wanapi; uncle Bradley Louison and aunties Danita Louison, Minvera Louison and Delma Bird.

The wake was held on Sunday, March 31, 2024 at 4:00 p.m. in the Kahkewistahaw Community Complex. A feast took place on Monday, April 1, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. in the Kahkewistahaw Community Complex with the funeral service following with officiant Elder Allan Delorme. The interment took place in the Kahkewistahaw Cemetery.

The pall bearers were Alex Louison, Andrew Lavalle, Tyler Paul, Dominick Louison, Farley Sparvier and Mike Leonard.
