On Thursday, April 18, 2013,The Creator took his beloved daughter Debra Thomson home, after a long courageous battle with Cancer. A Traditional Funeral Service will be held at the Carry The Kettle First Nation Band Hall on Monday, April 22, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Band Elder Vincent Rider and Howard Thomson officiating. The wake will be held in Bill and Cora Thomson’s Residence Sunday at 4:00 p.m. Interment in the South Cemetery. Debra was predeceased by grandson Micheal; grandparents: Hector (Lena) Eashappie and James (Birdie) Thomson and brother-in-law Dan Sornsen; uncles: Kenneth, Nelson, Glen (Shirley), Gordon Thomson and Robert Eashappie. She is survived by one daughter Cheynna (Thamer), one son Harley (Bobbi), her grandchildren: Devon, Aysha, Andrew and Graydan; her parents Bill (Cora) Thomson; eight sisters: Barbara (Bernie), Tina (Terry), Gwen (Stan), Brenda (Greg), Sheryl, Kim (Denby) Joy (Dave) and Lenora (Floyd) and numerous nieces and nephews.
