Dennis McGhie

August 20, 1950September 29, 2020

Dennis McGhie, beloved husband of Leslie McGhie of Grenfell, Saskatchewan died peacefully in his wife’s arms on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at the age of 70 years.

Dennis was predeceased by his by his parents Lewis and June (Montgomery) McGhie; brother-in-law Tim and his dear cat “Sylvester.”

He is survived by his wife Leslie (Rittinger) McGhie; daughters Trina and Christine (Roddy); sons Jason and Craig (Tamara); grandchildren: Kyle, Katie and Rachel; brother Lionel (Sandra); sister Lorna (Peter); sister-in-law Jan; brother-in-law Gary (Marlene); many close cousins, nieces and nephews.

A public graveside service will be held in the Grenfell Cemetery on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. with John Taylor officiating.

So very sad and sorry to hear about Dennis. Nathan and Dennis spent many hours together when they both worked for New Holland. Both were hard workers and they got along very well. In the late 70's we would often stop in at Dennis's place and quite often spent the night. What fun we had, we will cherish those times. May you RIP Dennis. Nathan and Brenda Lamb
