IN THE CARE OF
Tubman Funeral Home
It is with sadness that we share the news of the passing of Elmer Teskey beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend.
Elmer was known as a sweet, caring, gentle man, always with a smile, a handshake, and a story to tell for everyone he met. That caring side was never more evidenced than when he saw his family, his grandchildren and great-grandchild. His greatest joy, always, was being a husband, father, grandfather, and recently a great-grandfather. The love of family is his legacy he passes on.
He will be missed by daughter Tracey (Dale) Richter, son Tom Teskey, daughter Trina (Rick) Roth, grandchildren, Chelsea (Ty), Lane (Maddie), Braden (Blythe), Aaron, Evan (Tanaya), Carson, Shaelyn, DeeAnn (Jason) and great-grandchild, Annah Gayle. He is also lovingly remembered by sisters Hilda Rathgeber, Elsie Schrader, Louise Lang, brother-in-law Ken (Jane) deJong, sister-in-law Margaret deJong and many nieces and nephews.
Elmer was predeceased by his loving wife of 51 years Gayle Teskey, infant daughter Theresa, parents Emmanual and Elizabeth Teskey, brothers Gordon (Jean), Irvin and Clifford Teskey, sister Diane Bender.
A private family celebration of his life was held in the Kipling United Church with Rev. Hyun Heo officiating. Interment in Kipling Cemetery. Regretfully due to Covid restrictions, the funeral was for immediate family only.
The family wishes to send a sincere thank you to all the staff of the Kipling Integrated Centre for the kindness and care shown to Elmer during his time there.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kipling & District Palliative Care, Box 989, Kipling, SK S0G 2S0.
