Elvis was raised on the Sakimay First Nations with his Kokum Emma. He was the eldest of his siblings and that was a role he took pride in. He always made sure nobody messed with his brothers and was very proud of their accomplishments. Elvis had a fondness for cats and would laugh whenever someone made fun of his babytalk to kitties. He was a very crazy kid growing up but a very hard worker as well. His nickname Ching was given to him by his Quewezance grandparents Mickey & Elvira which stuck to him to this day. He was such a jokester, forever changing his voice to make you laugh even harder or just to laugh at his low crazy laugh. We could go on and on sharing our stories of how much of an amazing father, brother, son, uncle and grandfather he was but we will have the opportunity to share when we gather to celebrate his life. If you knew or were ever apart of Ching’s life, consider yourself blessed as we all are. He meant the world to all his family and friends.
The Family would like to thank Keeseekoose First Nation, Joe Musqua, Zagime Anishinabek, Neil Acoose, Allison Dupuis – Saskatchewan Coroners Service and Tubman Funeral Home for their kind assistance. Please do an act of kindness in memory of Elvis.
