He was predeceased by his parents Dr. George Ernest and Rose Dragan and sister Sonia Seniuk.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years Margaret and their five children Nancy, George (Jean), Susan (Barry), Sally (Tim), Barbara (Don), ten grandchildren Derek (Jessica), Daniel (Renee), Devon (Thy Thy), Nicole, Michelle (Billy), Leanne (Johnny), Shandra (Colton), Chelsea, Megan (Sean), Brianne, two great-grandchildren Westlyn and Emmett and very special friends Marlene and Chuck Gurney. He is also survived by his brother Bill (Cheryl) and their children Kathryn, Stefan and brother-in-law Ed MacDonald.
Ernie graduated in Pharmacy in Saskatoon in 1950 and was a pharmacist for forty years retiring in 1990. He owned ‘Dragan’s Drugs’ in Indian Head. Over the years Ernie participated in many clubs including the Masonic Lodge which he had been a member of for 70 years and the Indian Head Shrine Steel Drum Band. He is a lifetime member of the BPO Elks. He was a 12-year member of the Indian Head School Board during which time they were involved with the planning and building of the new Indian Head High School. In April 2018 Ernie and Margaret moved from Indian Head (their home for over sixty years) to Queen Victoria Estates in Regina.
The celebration of life took place in St. Andrew’s United Church, Indian Head on Saturday, November 7, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. with Chaplain Cliff Geiger officiating.
