Evelyn Gatrell

Evelyn Rose Gatrell, of Broadview Saskatchewan, was born April 25, 1931 in Wapella, Saskatchewan and passed away peacefully on September 27, 2010 in Broadview, Saskatchewan. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Greta and Joseph Barrett; husband Jack Gatrell; sisters Ida Warner and Jean Kozar; brothers-in-law Victor Kozar, Rod Gwilliam and Andy Gatrell; sisters-in-law Evelyn Gatrell and Lynda Gatrell. Evelyn is lovingly remembered by her children: Linda Bettschen (David), Dorothy Langford (Allen), Sharon Velestuk (Rob), Connie Reeve (Dwayne), Garry Gatrell (Janet) and JoAnn Poppleton (Darren); grandchildren Chris (Kelly) and Jennifer Bettschen, Jaclyn Langford, Trisha Mabee (Wade), Marcy Velestuk, Nicole, Rhett and Karli Reeve, Emma and Moira Poppleton; and great-grandchildren Will Bettschen and, Blayke Mabee. Evelyn is also survived by numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held in the Broadview & District Community Centre, Broadview, SK., on Friday, October 1, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Sally Bullas officiating. Interment in the Broadview Cemetery.
