Frank Englot
March 28, 1938 – May 11, 2022

With sadness and pride in a life well lived, the family of Frank Englot announce his passing on May 11, 2022 at the age 84.
Prayers were held in St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Candiac, Saskatchewan on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Gerard Joy C. Montiague officiating. The funeral mass was celebrated in St. Joseph's R.C. Church on Monday, May 16, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Gerard Joy C. Montiague. Interment followed in the Parish Cemetery.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Gladys (Grzech); their 6 children: Carlene - children Brandon (Lindsay) and their family Spencer, Emmett and Grayson; Aaron (Danica); Kelly (Tony) – children Shawn (Jordin) and their family Luka and Lucy; Kylee (Monique); Dustin; Andrea; Carman – children Faith and Sierra; Keith (Bonnie) – children Tamirat and Chareuh; James; Tracey – child Laine.
Siblings: Carl Englot, Millie Waldinger, Nellie Kotylak, Bernice Thibault, Cecilia Kotylak, Lawrence (Carole) Englot, Caroline Schmidt, Pauline (Frank) Clements, Stefania (Wayne) Flaman. Sisters-in-law: Velma Englot, Anne Englot, Norma Englot, Shirley Englot and Margaret Englot. In-laws: Gloria (Al) Mannle; Diane (Ron) Preikchat; Linda (Demetry) Procyk and Stan Grzech, numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and their families.
Frank was predeceased by his parents Paul and Nellie (Smuk) Englot; father and mother-in-law Stanley and Sophie Grzech; step father in-law Louis Schaeffer; great-granddaughter Sloane Watson; sisters & sisters-in-law and brothers & brothers-in-law: Rudolph Englot, Lucy and Mike Gorniak, Lena and Joe Karpinski, Peter Englot, Steve Waldinger, Joe Englot, Chester Englot, Stanley Kotylak, Audrey Englot, Andrew Kotylak, Ron Schmidt, Rene Thibault, Julian Englot, and Tony Englot, nieces Dawn Englot, Kosh Schmidt, and Jackie Kyluik, and nephews Tyler Sebastian, Stanley Gorniak, John Schmidt, Adam Herold, Leon Englot, Donny Kotylak, Trevor Schmidt and Jeff Englot.
Frank was born on March 28, 1938 on the farm in Candiac, Saskatchewan, where he continued to farm until his passing. He was a mixed farmer who loved his Hereford cattle. Frank lived a life of integrity and service, devoting hours to his family, his farm, and his community.
His true delight was in his family, he was a constant presence at rinks, ball diamonds, soccer pitches, mini-golf, pools, gyms and community events.
Special thanks to the staff of Kipling Integrated Health Centre for the care and compassion that they showed Frank and our family during his final days.
