George Louis Cancade

George was born October 13, 1929 in Dumas, the third son of Louis & Augustine Cancade.

He lived the majority of his life farming in Kennedy.

George was predeceased by his parents & brothers, John & Tony.

George is survived by his wife Doreen, of 42 years, sister Therese (Fred) Terry, step-sisters, Carolyn Cross and Ann Jalbert, sisters-in-law, Jean Cancade and Ada Cancade. He is also survived by his step-children, Dale (Sheila) Chanut, Glenn (Debbie) Chanut, Bonnie (George) Hart, Marie (Glenn) Travland, 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews and a multitude of friends.

Prayers will be held in the St. Ann R.C. Church Kennedy, SK on Tuesday January 14, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. The funeral mass will be held at the St. Ann R.C. Church on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch will be served in the Kennedy Hall following the Interment.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Ann R.C. Church, Box 90, Kennedy, Sask. S0G 2R0.

He used to collect and trade old radio programs on reel to reel. Spent hours sprawled on his bed listening with him! Thank you for the memories. Thank you for being so kind to a little girl who just didn't fit in. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
