GLEN JAMES (BAZIL) BELANGER - On Wednesday, November 16, 2011, the Creator called home Bazil at the age of 29 years in Saskatoon, SK. Bazil will go to meet his relatives that have gone on before him, his mother Glenda Belanger, grandparents Howard and Viola Isaac as well as Ernie and Mary Belanger. Glen will be sadly missed by his two sons Mason Bear, Nathaniel Lonechild and two daughters Merciah Wahpoosewyan and Marizah Wahpoosewyan; his companion P. Jacobs; his father Glen (Cheryl) Alexson , seven brothers: Aaron, Greg Taypotat (Tina), Kyle Alexson (Jean), Garrett Wolf Ear (Claudia), Daniel Bigsky, Curtis Bird, Sidney Taypotat (Jocelyn): five sisters: Mellissa Perkins (Joey), Candace Bigsky, Danielle Belanger/George (Larry), Cara Wolf Ear, Jerilynn Bird (Sheldon) and a grandma who he called mom Molly Belanger (Eugene). Bazil came from a large family too numerous to mention along with his friends. Bazil loved his kids and spending time with them when and where he could. A wake will be held at the Kahkewistahaw Communiplex, Kahkewistahaw First Nations on Sunday, November 20, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. and service to follow at 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with a Traditional Feast to be held at 12:00 p.m. prior to service. Interment in the Kahkewistahaw Cemetery. Arrangements in care of Tubman Cremation and Funeral Services.
