At her request a Church Service will be held at Jacob Bear United Church, Kahkewistahaw First Nation on Saturday September 17, 2016 at 7:00 pm. Wake will be at Chief Denton George Memorial Complex Hall on Sunday September 18, 2016 at 4:00 pm. Feast on Monday September 19, 2016 at 11:00 am with funeral service at 2:00 pm with Pastor Brig Judy officiating. Interment at Ochapowace Cemetery.
Grace was predeceased by her husband Fred Bear; brothers Donald, Gordon and Nelson Assiniboine; sisters Emma and Cora Assiniboine, Victoria Morrison, Bertha Wahpooseweyan, Thelma Louison and Rosalie Standingready. She is survived by her sons Wesley, Frederick (Marcella), Robert (Janice), Lloyd (Gerree); daughters Faith, Freida, Joy (Robert), Jean (Alfred), Brenda (Robert); 38 grandchildren, 86 great- grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Orval (Cathy) Bear and numerous nieces and nephews.
