Harriet Rose Kahnapace

We are sad to announce the passing of Harriet Rose Kahnapace at the age of 56 years. Harriet is predeceased by her father: George Kahnapace; brothers Ahton, Robert, Marty, and Kevin Kahnapace; sisters, Sandra and Kendra Kahnapace; son Rudy Brass; daughter Nicole Joyea and her husband Wilfred Thorn. She is survived by her mother, Rosalie Pambrun; brothers: Raymond, Joseph Sr., Richard and Dana Kahnapace; Common-law husband, Blaine Nookahoot; sons Harley and Churchill Kanhapace, Maurice and Nathan Joyea, Matthew and William Thorn; daughter Charlotte Two Young Men and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, cousins, aunts and uncles. Harriet Kahnapace was a smiling, happy, kind, strong woman and a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend. A traditional wake will be held at the Chief Ben Pasqua Memorial hall on Sunday Evening , June 22, 2014. Funeral Service will be held Monday, June 23, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall with Band Elders presiding. Interment in Asham Beach cemetery. Arrangements in care of Tubman Funeral Home.
