Henry Joseph Pelletier

June 9, 1938October 8, 2019

Henry Joseph Pelletier, son of Mary Pelletier, was born June 9th, 1938 at home in Katepwa, Sask. He was a twin to sister Marie. He was “Jimmy" to those who knew and loved him. He had 6 other siblings. Bernice, Tom, Karon, John, Jean and Sharon. Many Uncles, Aunts, nephews, nieces and cousins.

Henry suffered from Epilepsy with severe Grand Mal seizures and had to be placed in an Institution for most of his life..Weyburn, Moose Jaw and Prince Albert. When those places all closed Henry was placed in a Group Home in Cudworth, Sask., which he loved. He worked daily at Columbian Industries and loved his job of ripping labels off of 2 litre pop bottles! He had many friends there and the Staff all loved his gentle way.

Marie would bring him home from time to time and he was able to spend time with her children and once even took him to see Aunty Rhoda in her home! When Sveto and Marie moved to Balcarres Henry was moved to the B.I.C. in Long Term Care where he lived until his passing peacefully at 6 am on October 8th, 2019.

He will be placed with his Mother on November 11th 2019 at 1 pm in the Indian Head Cemetery. Jimmy is now in God’s care and will be missed by his family..until we see him again!
