Jeremy Edwin Ryder was born in Montmartre, Saskatchewan on September 8, 1975. He resided in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan and died in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan on Monday, April 6, 2026, at the age of 50 years.

Jeremy was predeceased by his loving grandparents: Edwin and Edna Ryder (Desnomie) and Levi and Evelyn Eashappie (Hotomanie); two brothers Lonny Ryder and baby boy Ryder and his loving son Harlen Ryder.

Left to mourn him are his loving parents Glenda and Cecil Eashappie; his children Keanu Lewis and Nitika Ryder; grandson Justice Preston; very special friend Lillian Moore; amazing brother Shawn Eashappie; one and only loving sister Tanya Eashappie; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins and two good friends Barry Moore and Howard Bellrose.

A wake will be held in the Carry The Kettle Community Centre, Carry The Kettle First Nation on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral will take place in the same location on Monday, April 13, 2026 at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Elder Kurt Ryder. The interment will take place in the North Cemetery, Carry The Kettle First Nation.
