John Wayne Lavallee

April 17, 1957 - October 6, 2012

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of our loved

one, John Wayne, on Saturday October 6, 2012. John was 55 years old. John is

predeceased by his maternal grandparents, Herb and Alma Sparvier; paternal

grandparents, Antoine and Vitaline Lavallee; parents, Ernest and Muriel

Lavallee; brothers, Steve, Michael, Richard and Eugene; sisters, Freda,

Shirley, Thedra; mother-in-law, Marietta Sangwais; and Brother-in-laws,

Clark and Gilbert Bellegarde. John is survived by his life partner, Cynthia

(Jojo) Sangwais; children, Leslie, Steven, Darrin, Chase, Taylor and step

children, Jamie Cote, Amanda and Anthony; sisters, Doreen (Ross), Carol,

Brenda (Brian), Ronalee and Bonnie; brothers: Mac (Loretta), Kenny, Patrick

(Luana) and Francis; sister-in-laws, Melody Lavallee, Audrey Delorme

and Wanda Sangwais; brother-in-laws, Cameron and Clark Sangwais; John is

also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. A traditional wake

will be held in the Old School Gym, Cowessess First Nation Thursday at 4:00 p.m. A traditional funeral service will be held in the Old School Gym Friday, October 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Band Elders officiating.
