It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Johnana (Joanne) Marie Alexson at the age 67 years.
Predeceased by her parents, Thomas Bear and Eva Alexson; sisters: Viola, Joyce, & Marla; brother Robin, and son Eldon Alexson.
Johnana is survived by her children: Michael, Melvina, Herman (Kimberly), Alvin (Shellena), Melinda, Ashley (Vanessa), Katrine (Justin), Tianna (Calvin); 17 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; Special friend Dennis Taypotat. Johnana will be missed by her sisters: Sharon, Geri, Christine, Myra, Wendy, and Bonnie (Jerry), numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
The wake was held at the Kahkewistahaw Complex on Monday May 16, 2022, at 4:00pm. Funeral service was at 1:00pm on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, a shared meal followed. All those in attendance at the funeral were encouraged to wear pink for breast cancer awareness. The family would like to thank the staff at Broadview Centennial Lodge for the care and support of our mother Johnana.
