OBITUARY

Katherine A. Wood

November 22, 1939October 29, 2019

On Tuesday, October 29, 2019 Katherine (Kay) Wood of Kipling, Saskatchewan passed away at the age of 79 years.

Katherine was predeceased by her daughter Brenda; son-in-law Terry and her parents.

She is survived by her loving husband Harry of 61 years; daughter Debbie; son Jack (Wanda); six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; beloved dog Buddy; siblings and numerous nieces and nephews.

Katherine was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, raised in Melville, SK. and later moved to Winnipeg, MB. She worked for Manitoba Telephones. She met Harry in Winnipeg and they were married on May 24, 1958. They moved to the Corning district where they farmed and raised their children. In 2011, Kay and Harry moved off the farm to live in Kipling, Saskatchewan.

She will be remembered for her love of flowers and gardening. She was always willing to help out anyone in need and considered everyone she met part of the family. Kay was loved by all and will be missed by many.

We are very shocked to hear of Kay's passing. Our thoughts and prayers! We have many fond memories of Kay. Last time we saw Kay we shared some funny memories of times we spent together on the farm. Remember the good times.
