Lloyd was the youngest of six children born to Emma Jane (Dovall) and John Dewy Rielly. His brothers were Albert, Herbert and Lorne Rielly and his sisters were Pearl Carlson (Rielly) and Violet Wallington (Rielly).

Lloyd was a bushman, logging up in the hills (he called it) at Erwood, Clemance and Hudson Bay areas. As a lumberjack, Lloyd had many stories, always including a joke because he loved to laugh and tease. After a lifetime of using chainsaws, his hands crippled and injured to form a permanent position of a chainsaw grasp of which he was very proud. Lloyd loved to hunt, cattle farm, hang out with the boys for a beer and live a solitude life. Lloyd retired on his parent’s homestead and became a cattleman and continued to log for his own heat source till he was 89 years. He came to live in Kipling, SK at his daughter (Gloria) and son-in-law’s (Kelly) acreage on September 2015 at 89 years old till January 2020 when he got placement in Kipling LTC Home.

Lloyd was a gentle loving soul and father to 3 children: Gloria (Kelly), Marvin and Sheila (Jeff); mother (of his children), advocate and lifelong friend Agnes (Nowakowki). Lloyd never married. Lloyd was blessed with 7 grandchildren, 3 born to Gloria (Paul) and 2 born to Gloria (Kelly) – Dion, Brina, Devin, Mandy and Myrisa; 2 born to Sheila (Jeff) – Rebecca, Corbin and 19 great-grandchildren: Daxton, Kinley, Connor, Beckham, Michael, Autumn, Lucas, Eja, Kaleb, Ariana, Jayden, Ethan, Chloee, Haley, Bentley, Xzavier, Ziayla, Greyson and Willow.

Lloyd was predeceased by his parents Emma and Dewy Rielly and siblings: Albert, Herbert, Lorne (infant), Pearl and Violet.

Lloyd is survived by his 3 children and their spouses, 7 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

All who knew Lloyd will dearly miss him and will remember his joyful laugh and loving soul.
