McDERMAID - Suddenly on Saturday, February 8, 2014, David (Mac) McDermaid beloved husband of Donna McDermaid, Indian, Head, SK died at the age of 57 years. A celebration of Davidís life will be held in the Indian Head Memorial Hall, Indian Head, SK on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Alverta Laskey officiating. Cremation with interment in Indian Head Cemetery. Mac was predeceased by his parents Malcolm McDermaid Sr., Jean (Russ) Howey and one brother Hugh McDermaid. He is survived by his wife Donna; daughter, Naomi (Christian) Racette and their sons Seff and Amos; son, Derek (Nicole) Racette and their family Kayla, Kiera and Kobey; daughter, Gaylene (Patrick) Markel and their family Caleb and Talan; one sister Kathy McDermaid; one sister-in-law Elaine McDermaid; two step brothers: Brian (Barb) and Frank (Sharon) Howey and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
