

Marc was predeceased by his Kokum Emma Panipekeesick who he adored very fondly, she nicknamed him her boyfriend. He will also be met by his other special Kokum Edna Sangwais who nicknamed him Gus and his Mushum Moses; Kokum Cynthia Penny and great Mushum Harry Panipekeesick. He will also be greeted on the other side by numerous great aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.
Marc aka “Gus” is survived by his parents Lloyd Sangwais and Shawna Panipekeesick; the joy and love of his life his daughter Brealynn; loving partner Natayia; Mushum Floyd Pelletier; brothers: Charles (Tara, whom he called his second Mom), Steve (Sasha), Delaney, Josh and Earl; sisters: Alissa (Nathan) and Nicole and Kokum Alice Sangwais. Uncles Gilbert (Lynn), Doug, Blair (Connie), Randy (Denise), Loren (Genevieve), Floyd Jr.; Aunties: Doris and Carol (Brian), Jennifer, Leslie, Rebecca, Lindsui, and Caroline. Marc’s first cousins he called his sisters and brothers Emmarae (Paul), Desiree, Taneaka, Sierra, Amber and Shannon; and Keagan, AJ, Kip Douglas Jr., Felix and Shane. Along with other cousins too numerous to mention but each and every one of them held a special place and fond memories of Marc. Marc was blessed with a large family from both the Panipeekesick and Sangwais families.
He will be missed by many of us for a very long time. Have a safe journey Marc . We love you.
The wake was held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 4:00 p.m. in the Sakimay Community Centre on Sakimay First Nation. The feast was held on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service to following. Elder Wayne Kequahtooway was the officiant. Interment in Sakimay United Church Cemetery.
