He was predeceased by his dad Chester Francis; mom Marla Louison and stepdad Maurice Louison, as well as his brother Chester and sister Connie.
Marcel is survived by his brothers Leon (Jerrilyn) and Bill (Charmaine); sisters: Krista, Darla, Missy and Patsy (Floyd); children: Patience, Sunsett, Jaimie and Baby Marcel; special brothers: Dean Taypotat, Duane Alexson, Ashley Alexson and Mike Alexson.
The wake was held in the Kahkewistahaw Complex, Kahkewistahaw First Nation on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service took place in the Kahkewistahaw Complex on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., officiated by Elder Allen Delorme, Pastors Desmond Desnomie and Joy Desnomie. The interment took place in the Kahkewistahaw First Nation Cemetery.
