She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Philip and Martha (Bigsky) Manitopyes; paternal grandparents Peter Windigo and Dinah Wahpipinace; her parents Tommy and Theresa Windigo; stepdad Alex; her two older sisters Brenda and Lana and her two younger brothers Gary and Wes.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years Ian Prettyshield; her children: Heather, Zach, Chase and Seth; her precious grandchildren: Hope, Kaleb, Mikaylee, Alayah, McKenzie, Chase Jr., Gabriel, Coty, Harmony, Gary, Amiya, Athena, Cassius, Katrina, Aliyah and her special baby girl Cleopatra; her brothers: Kerby (Sharon) Windigo, Tom (Lois) Windigo and Mike Windigo; her sisters: Joanne (Lloyd) Manitopyes, Geraldine, Diane (Chad) and Sharon; Ian's siblings: Allison, Jennifer, Lori and Christina PrettyShield, Sylvia (Darrel) Ryder and brothers Gerald (Laura) Ryder and Christopher (Karen) Ryder; special niece Kariah Windigo, as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.
The wake will be held in the Community Centre, Carry The Kettle Nakoda Nation on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral will be held in the same location on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 12:00 p.m., officiated by Hoss (Bernard) Jack. The pallbearers will be Kelly Delorme, Darrell Jack, MacKenzie Prettyshield, Chase Windigo Jr., Aaron Wolfe and Colin Windigo. The honorary pallbearers will be her many female friends that she made throughout her life growing up on the Muskowekwan First Nation as well as the Prettyshield family. The internment will take place in the south cemetery.
