A wake for Melvin will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. in Kahkewistahaw Community Complex, Kahkewistahaw First Nation. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, officiated by Elder Klyne Alexson. The pallbearers will be Klyne Alexson, Larry Alexson, Ross Alexson, Edward Alexson, Jason Chorney and Jason Podolsky. The interment will take place in the Kahkewistahaw Cemetery.
