Michael Edward Armstrong

February 25, 1953November 22, 2021

It is with sadness that we announce the death of Michael Edward Armstrong of Kennedy, youngest son of Toby & Jean. Mike was born on February 25, 1953, passing away suddenly on November 22, 2021. His failing health from COPD and a fall created challenges in all aspects of his life.

In peace, he joins his parents Toby & Jean; sisters-in-law Doreen & Edith; nephew Kevin and great-nephew Skyler.

Mike will be loved and remembered by his brothers: Jim, Ralph & Marion, David & Angie; his sisters Pat & Nick, Kay & Andy and numerous family members.

He was a man of various skills: carpentry, roofing, locksmith, and repair jobs. Mike’s amazing memory made it easy for him to share the history & relationships of the community. Until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.

Sincere condolences and prayers for the Armstrong family and close friends. Mike was so friendly and helped us out a number of times with power and other last minutes issues at a few of our Kennedy shows. Always willing to help with a smile. We enjoyed our visits and will always remember him.

Such sad news ~ our sincere sympathy and condolences to the family. Mike was always ready to give a helping hand to dad on the farm during spring and harvest. We all shared many a harvest meal in the field or at the house. RIP Mike.
