Our deepest condolence to The Keepness family and friends. I so enjoyed the little time we spent together but I have a permanent reminder of his talent with the gospel c..d. we recorded at his home studio. Such a gifted artist and fine human being, he will be missed by so many he touched .

Hello. So sorry to hear about mike passing. I took an art course with him. He was such a kind gentle humble person. So skilled with his painting. I extend my sincere condolences to his family friends and the arts community. I had hoped to take another course from him and to learn more. He had such a kind presence and was so willing to share his art knowledge.
Sincerely Kathy hancock

I may not have been with him for the last five years but I was with him for 15 years. 3 years as his girlfriend and 12 years as his wife. I’ll forever be the mother of his 3 children, for whom I am so grateful for. We separated in a bad way; but his passing taught me the importance of forgiveness and love. I forgive you for the hurt you caused me; I forgive myself for the hurt I caused you with my own unforgiveness and anger. We will meet again, perhaps in heaven or in another life. We’ll find each other again and maybe we’ll be better next time. Healed. Forgiven. Knowing how to love. I’ll never forget you and the last time I touched your face. You are so handsome in the outfit your brother picked out for you. I’ll always be here for our beautiful babies. Thank you for living your life. Rest now, Mike, your work is done. Come to me in my dreams sometime, please? You took a big piece of me when you left. I never thought this is how life would be. All my love, your ex-wife and mother of your children, Night Song.

You called me uncle. Never a negative signal of emotion, always a positive attitude. Your were the essence of humbleness Mike Keepness. I will miss you greatly. We promised each other to set a date to meet this new year to create another album for us. God had the ultimate say. God has called you home. We shall meet again my brother in the Lord.

My heartfelt condolences to Mike's family and wife and partner and children. Mike had a really good heart, he sang at my mother's deathbed "Send your best Angel" May the Lord send his best Angel to take you to your home in heaven. Where you'll walk the streets of Gold. Praying for strength and Peace for all whose hearts he touched!

Mike was talented, funny, and a passionate truth seeker. We had many conversations about God, life, relationships, and music. He taught me that it takes determination to be a master of anything. His art and music will leave a legacy that we will all remember. I will deeply miss him and think often of how he changed my life.
