

Paul passed away peacefully at the age of 89 in Fort Qu’Appelle. Paul was predeceased by his wife Jean and his son Barry. Paul will be remembered by all for his youthful attitude, sense of humour and big smile. He will be missed by Wendy (Keith), Danielle and Ian, Tim (Carrie), Jeremy, James and Emily, his daughter-in-law, Ellen, and Amarah (Travis) and Jonah. Paul was born on a farm near Lebret, part of a large family. He joined the Navy during WW11 serving throughout Europe and the North Atlantic. After the war Paul became a plumber and worked at his trade for 40 years. He married Jean MacLeod in 1950 in Regina. Paul and Jean remained in Regina, raising their children, until the late 1970’s at which point they semi-retired to Lebret. Paul enjoyed gardening and especially loved his roses. Afternoons would find him sitting in the garden under the apple tree. He loved sports being an avid curler and passionate Habs fan. His door was always open, enjoying visits from his grandchildren, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews and friends. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held in Sacred Heart R. C. Church, Lebret, SK., on Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. Thanks to Harrison House staff, all the caring folks at ANHH and to many home-care nurses over the years.
