Phillip Dusyk

Phillip was a devoted husband to Gloria (Coupal) and they would have celebrated an astounding 68 years together this August. He was a loving father of five children: Donna (Marvin) Elliott, Bonnie Dusyk, Kelly (Jim) Weichel, Brad (Nicole) Dusyk and Scott (Carla) Dusyk; grandchildren: Stacey, Melissa (Chad), Monty (Andree), Brandy (Cory), Kimberley (Trevor), Sheldon (Taylor), Tanner (Brittney), Rylan (Nikki), Mason, Tenisha, Cassondra, Skylar and Rowan, along with 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Phillip was born on December 4, 1933 in Montmartre, Saskatchewan. He was the oldest of five children born to John and Elsie Dusyk, brothers: Ted (Ella), Harold (Sharon), Mervin (Pauline) - both deceased and sister Claudette Mironuck.

Phillip attended Upperwake Field School south of Montmartre. After a few years of working in Regina, he returned in 1957 to farm with his father. That same year he married Gloria, bought her father’s farm and continued to farm there for the next 67 years.

The funeral service was held in Sacred Heart RC Church Montmartre on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 10:30 a.m., officiated by Rev. Father Warren Dungen.
