

He was predeceased by his first wife Agnes Rose Whitehat, Father: Thomas Kequahtooway, Mother: Marie Kequahtooway, Brothers: Dean Paul Kequahtooway, Wesley Kequahtooway Sr, Sister lost in infancy Bonnie-Lynn Kequahtooway, Son: Patrick Whitehat, brothers-in-law: Frank Hapa, Herman Hapa, Carl Essie, sisters-in-law: Mary Essie-Hotain, Victoria Essie, Winona Jones-White.
He leaves to mourn his beloved wife Flora Kequahtooway. His Children: Rebecca Kequahtooway (Emile), Natalie Whitehat, Joellia Mcleod (Joe), Darcy Whitehat (Kitty), Rosalie Kequahtooway (Alvin), Jason Whitehat (Genevieve), Monella Hawk (Stan). Grandchildren he raised: Jordy Kaye, Stefan King, Ylonda Kequahtooway (Mickey), Raymond Whitehat, Jessica Whitehat (Landyn), Carrie Kaye (Amanda). His Special Grandson the man Draydon Kequahtooway. His Siblings: Bruce Kequahtooway (Crystal), Lindsay Kequahtooway (Sharon), Ross Kequahtooway (Lorna), Karen Kequahtooway, Ruth Whitehat (Darcy), Cheryl Lerat, Special Uncle Kush Lerat (Grace) Along with Numerous adopted brothers/sisters, nieces, nephews, and grandchildren.
He was a loving man who cared for his family and community. He always had encouraging words and laughter to share. There were many accomplishments he achieved in life but the most important was when he gave his life to Jesus in 1999. He loved the Lord and lived his life for him. Ronald will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The wake will held in the Sakimay First Nations Community Complex on Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 4:00pm with the Funeral service to follow on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 11:00.a.m. with Pastor Larry Laquette and Elder Bruce Kequahtooway officiating. Interment in the Kaye Family Cemetery.
