He was predeceased by his wife and love of his life of 43 years, Eleanor (Cameron).
He leaves behind his son Bruce (Dorothy); daughter Barb; grandchildren Cory (Leisha) and Mandy (Mike); great-grandchildren: Jade, Daniel, David and Deagan as well as many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Roy was a simple man with an amazing work ethic. He was happy with an “extra crispy” weiner or a piece of chocolate cake.
He was a mentor to many and shared his knowledge whenever he could. His can do or fix anything attitude rubbed off on many.
It wasn't all work for Roy. He loved hockey and played as a goalie on 5 different teams up until he was in his 30’s.
He had many jobs over the years. A farmer, an entrepreneur, school bus driver, maintenance man at Village of Kennedy, truck driver and most recently the “potty master” at Cameron Enterprises. He was know for patching himself up if it was required to get the job done.
He will always be remembered for his sense of humor, you never knew what would come out of his mouth. He was a kind hearted man, who would help anyone, and never asked for anything in return. He will be missed by all who knew him.
