Sophie (Zofia) Fowlie

On Friday, November 23, 2012, Sophie (Zofia) Fowlie, Broadview, SK, died at the age of 74 years. The funeral service will be held in the Holy Name of Mary R.C. Church, Broadview, on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ed Hengen officiating. Private family interment of cremated remains in the Broadview Cemetery. Predeceased by husband Allan; granddaughter Tasha; parents Harry and Katie Kohut; mother-in-law and father-in-law Ina and Pete Fowlie; step father-in-law Jim Nesbitt and brother Mike Kohut. Sophie is survived by five children: Victor (Joanne) Kohut, Regina, Sandra Stewart (Danny), Broadview, Brenda (Ron) Manovich, Grenfell, Mark (Deannie) Fowlie, Airdrie, AB and Wanda (Allen) Henderson, Gainsborough, SK; seventeen grandchildren: Rachelle, Danette, Pamela, Tonya, Derek (Rebecca), Stacy, Danny (Megan), Darren, Dalton, Janelle, Cody, Jordan, Jacob, Mikki, Traci, Kayci and Carter; five great grandchildren: Brayden, Stephen, Hudson, Brooklyn and Makenna; sister Mary Dyke, Broadview; brother John Kohut, Broadview; three sisters-in-law: Martha Strandlund, Broadview, Isabelle Baron, Spruce Grove, AB and Esther Fowlie, Hinton, AB. Sophie is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
