On Sunday, November 25, 2012, Stuart Campbell Eashappie, Carry The Kettle First Nation, SK, died at the age of 85 years. The funeral service will be held in the chapel of the Tubman Funeral Home, Wolseley, SK, on Friday, November 30, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Ed Hengen officiating. Interment in the Middle Cemetery. A feast will be held in the Carry The Kettle Elders Lodge on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Predeceased by parents Maggie and Harry Eashappie; two brothers Gillespie and Jimmy Eashappie; one sister Minnie Eashappie, as well as a brother and sister in infancy. Stuart leaves to mourn his sisters: Idabelle Eashappie, Sadie Haywahe and Nancy Eashappie; a special great granddaughter Alberta Prettyshield and all of his nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the nurses and Dr. B. Zimmermann of the Indian Head Union Hospital, the ambulance care services, and also Rev. Ed Hengen.
