

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Tabin, with family by his side. Tabin McKay (White Buffalo Warrior) began his journey home on June 14, 2025 with our creator at the age of 41 years.
Tabin was a kind hearted and caring son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and cousin.
He leaves behind to cherish his memories, the mother of his children, Brandy; his sons: Braiden (Kendra), Brendan, Tabin Jr. (Emma), Tegan and Talus; mother Phyllis McKay; sisters Tina Kequahtooway (Cory) and Candace; brothers Donovan Kequahtooway and Avison McKay; grandchildren: Hazel, Paisley, Alexander, Malakai, Majestic, Noah, Tobias, Kyren and Daelani; special nieces: Chareece, Tashina, Blaze, Patricia, Dara, Revee and Georgina; special nephews: Avery, Monte, Dana, Carter, Ryan, Corbin, Kyle, Micheal, Daylen (Passion), Leeland and Tyson.
He was predeceased by his grandparents Gordon and Georgina Kequahtooway and Anges and James McKay; father Marshall McKay; brother Eric; sisters: Ruth Anne, Dana and Tanya and special nieces and nephews: Monica, Shanda and Landon.
The family would like to give many thanks to the Regina General Hospital staff on 6F for the care he received and the staff of Tubman Funeral Home in Wolseley.
The wake took place in the Zagime Anishinabek Community Complex on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. The funeral service took place in the Zagime Anishinabek Community Complex on Thursday, June 19, 2025 at 11:00 a.m., with Elder Alvin Kequahtooway officiating. The pallbearers were Ryan McKay, Cory Perkins, Corbin Perkins and Randy Sangwais. The interment took place in the Zagime United Church Cemetery and will be followed by a meal.
