My memory of Vera was as a longtime nursing colleague and dear friend of my mom Elaine. I recall the fun times they enjoyed dancing and socializing.
Rest in Peace. You are missed.
Sincere condolences to the family.

I have known Vera since 1975. She and I became good friends, working together.....and having lots of fun at it!!....especially in the church. We both played the organ, and were on the ministerial and loved the spiritual aspect of it all. We stayed in touch after my family moved to Alberta in 1991 and had some very good visits, particularly just before she passed. Vera was a kind soul, full of humour (did anyone ever see her without that smile??) and indeed, a passionately spiritual person. She was ready to 'meet her maker' and was cheerful to the end. I will miss her....until we meet again.
