Verna Measner

On Monday, December 19, 2011, Verna Myra Measner, Wolseley, SK., and formerly Regina and Holdfast SK., died at the age of 94 years. The funeral service will be held in the Victoria Avenue Funeral Home, 2080 Victoria Avenue East, Regina, SK., on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with Darrell Reine officiating. Interment of cremated remains in the Holdfast Cemetery, Holdfast, SK. Predeceased by her parents Herman and Martha (nee Myrah) Measner; brother Lloyd Measner and brother Nealand Measner and his wife Millie; sister Hazel Wildfong and her husband Vernon. Verna is survived by her sister Ione Todd, Glenavon, SK.; sister-in-law Connie Measner, Vancouver, B.C.; her nieces and nephews: Beryl (Robert) Fournier, Glenavon, Alan (Mary) Todd, Kayley, AB., Heather (Larry) Dew, Windthorst, SK., Glenn (Lori) Todd, Glenavon, Richard (Leslie) Todd, St. Albert, AB., Rodney (Mary) Measner, Holdfast, and Karen Payant, Regina. Verna is also survived by her great nieces and great nephews.
