I know it was a year ago but I still think about the day i was told

God made a wonderful mother.

Aunty Dina, on behalf of myself and Dad (Joshua Collins Sr.) you'll surely be missed; I'm thankful that you're you're in no more pain; even though it hurts to know that you're no longer with us, my heart is happy knowing that I will see you again...I really appreciate the many calls from you the first year without Mom; that sure meant alot to me; thanks for the opportunity of enjoying some great time with you in January 2012 here in Minnesota...again you will be missed but I look forward to seeing you again.

I really wanted to be known, but God needed you and took it.
Only faith in Jesus Christ is able to give you the comfort you seek. Before death, all the arguments end. We are too limited to find the exact answer that our heart desires. For those who have faith, death ceases to be a ghost and becomes the prerequisite for the meeting of man with God. For those who believe in Jesus Christ, death is the beginning of eternal happiness, deliverance from all the bonds that hold our bodies to the earth
  The sister who left was not the subject of meat, but rather, person, created in the image and likeness of God and, therefore, possessing an immortal soul, a life that never dies. To God nothing is impossible. And in Jesus Christ who said it and proved that God is the Lord of life and all we shall one day rise again.

How can I forget such a wonderful person as you, Aunty Dina? You were truely one of a kind. The sound of you laughing and those heartfelt conversations we used to have together, I will surely miss. I am  happy that you got the chance to meet my son Samuel who loved you very much. It's hard to believe that you are gone, but I'm happy that you are now resting in the arms of Jesus; free from pain and suffering! We love you and miss you! Momma's Wonderful Legacy

of which I wish to tell
about a wonderful lady
... that we loved so well.
Her strength lives within us
and grows stronger every day.
Her honor still lingers
though her life has slipped away.
I miss the sound of her laughter
and her stern lectures too!
I miss hearing her say, “Son, I love you”.

She fought a good battle

A great lady has gone from this world that is my best friend and good neighbor for many many years Adina Frances Daisley strong, gentle, kind , caring and she was a devoted christian and believed in her god. Always willing to lend a helping hand when needed. She always shared everything she had especially her breadfruit her tree was mine tree if she only had one remained half was mines. She was ...a great cook and when she cooked she always send a plate for me espcially fungi. It was a great priviledge to take care and support her when she took sick. I would make sure she had something to eat everyday or call her to make sure she was okay everyday And she would tell me god will bless u good neighbor and that is the last thing she told me for the new year. I will miss my good neighbor but I know that she is in her savior arm dancing and rejocing with out any suffering or pain and also with her love ones. So I would not say good bye but see u later. Though years have passed since last seeing Adina, I have never forgotten the love she showed me and my children or the wonderful big sister she was to me.  Her influence for Christ in my life has always been appreciated.

Aunty D you were like a mother to me I will miss your calls, hearing you voice calling out my name everytime I visit my mothers house and I really enjoyed the year you spent Thanksgiving with me I will never forget that day. RIP

I  remember as a child the wonderful times I spent around your home on Sundays after church. I remember the hugs, the smile, and your words of wisdom. I remember when you told me to stop calling you "Sister Daisley" and call you "Tanty Dina", then later "mom".  Not only did you leave behind a strong legacy with shoes to hard to fill, but for me you have left me a lifetime blessing that I will cherish forever.  May you rest in peace.
