He was born on April 6, 1932 in Woodbury, MN to Edgar and Eva Nippoldt.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Eva; 4 siblings; and one great grandchild.
Allen is survived by children Manuela Baker, Chuck (Dawn) Nippoldt, Dan (Leslie) Nippoldt, and Julie Nippoldt; 9 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Wulff Funeral Home, 2195 Woodlane Dr. in Woodbury, MN on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 11 am, with a visitation starting at 10 am. Interment will follow at The Grove Woodbury United Methodist Cemetery in Woodbury, MN.
