What a beautiful impact Bruce has made on this world! I grew in the Lord and learned how to follow Jesus daily during my time at Teens for Christ. Under the leadership of Bruce and his son Jim I learned to study scripture and apply it to my life in the youth group. I learned to memorize scripture with Bible Quizzing. I learned to live a life that is fully invested in the spread of the gospel simply through their example.
I praise the Lord for the faithful life that Bruce lived here on this earth, and I rejoice with him for his new adventure in the presence of the Lord.

Bruce was and will always be one of the best people I have ever had the honor of knowing and being able to call my friend I have not spoken to him or his family in a long time but I will never forget the lessons he taught me about loving people for no other reason than the fact that no matter our status we are all just people. The best memory I have of Bruce is sitting in my brother's hospital room talking to him about his trip behind the iron curtain. That memory will always be with me and Bruce you will always be my friend. Shirley I am so very sorry for your loss I know you must be crushed I have never seen two people care for each other like the two of you. As for you boys Larry Jim and Tony keep your chins up I wish I had grown up with a dad like yours. He might have been hard at times but he loved you boys with a strength most dad's don't have. Tammy I know that your dad was always there for you and loved you no matter what keep him in your thoughts always and he will never go away. I love you guys I always have and will I'm sorry that it took this for me to reach out please send me a note if you need anything or just want to talk.

I'll never forget his hearty laugh! When something tickled him, there was no holding back. As a coach, he had to be tough but I believe he loved each and every one of us. He had a big heart, loved Jesus, and loved to serve God. I look forward to our reunion! Until then, we who knew him, will miss him. Sincerest condolences for Shirley, Larry, Jim, and Tony. God bless and keep you all!
